Mozilla Firefox: ERROR Error: “[object Object]” in Angular

Published by Rienz Otiong on

ERROR Error: "[object Object]" is a common Angular error for those web developers using Mozilla Firefox as their development browser. This error is very much not detailed and makes you wonder where on your code this error occurred.

Turns out its a browser issue. If your using Mozilla Firefox then probably your encountering this error, its sad because Mozilla Firefox is a great browser for styling CSS and re-sending HTTP requests however with this kind of error your need to switch to Google Chrome to see the error details. Mostly its because you didn’t put your service or resolver on your module’s providers.

So this is my code when I encounter this error.

Here’s the detailed error after switching to Google Chrome.

So by simply putting my BackgroundImageResolver into providers.

Problem solved! 😀

If this doesn’t solve your problem, I’m willing to help/figure out what needs to be done just let know in the comments below.

Hey! Thank you very much for the explanation. I have that issue in firefox but I can’t find any issue in Chrome. What could it be?
